Scenic Spaces

The world is filled with some incredible places. This collection is dedicated to places that leave you feeling small.

Wild Wolves

The wild wolf stands as a powerful and enduring symbol of wilderness and conservation efforts throughout the United States. Witnessing one in its natural habitat is a rare, awe-inspiring, and deeply memorable experience, embodying the true spirit of untamed nature alongside the ongoing dedication to protecting fragile and vulnerable ecosystems. Wolves play a crucial and indispensable role in maintaining the delicate balance of wildlife communities, serving as apex predators that directly influence the overall health and diversity of forests and expansive grasslands. Their continued presence in these wild spaces serves as a strong reminder of the urgent importance of preserving natural habitats where nature can flourish freely, sustainably, and in harmony with all living creatures.

Hawaii

The Big Island. We spent time on both the Kona and Hilo sides of the island. They could not be farther from each other. One is tropical and wild, the other is dry, sunny, and cool. They cut a spectacular scene.

B&W Yellowstone

Greater Yellowstone in black and white shows a timeless and powerful view of this famous natural area. Without color, the contrast between rocky cliffs, wide forests, and calm water stands out more. Snowy peaks stand out sharply against the sky, and tree bark and rivers show clear details often missed in color photos. This style highlights shapes, shadows, and light, giving a calm and grand feel while showing the pure beauty of Greater Yellowstone. The light and dark in these pictures capture the wild spirit, offering a new way to see this vast and peaceful place.

Geysers and Hot Springs

People come from all over the world to experience Yellowstone National Park. A surprising many have no idea how expansive the parks hydrothermal features are. Hopefully this small gallery does justice to these features to which we owe the parks existance.
